This website is a much expanded version of Focus Magazine that has been produced monthly for over thirty years.  Its purpose has always been to bring information and news of local organisations and activities to visitors and to people in the villages  of the Nadder Valley.

We have a lot to offer visitors, commuters and would-be residents:  comfortable, unspoilt  living close to the cathedral city of Salisbury but far enough to be rural, good food and lodging in local inns, a wonderful place to live and to visit.

Church Hands
The Reverend Andrew Staley (currently a curate in the Bridport Team) has been appointed to be a Team Vicar in the Nadder Valley Team Ministry with particular responsibility for Tisbury and the North Group of parishes i.e:  Hindon with Chicklade and Pertwood, Fonthill Bishop, Fonthill Gifford and Chilmark.  He and his wife, Donelle, will be living in the Rectory at Tisbury and he will be licensed on 14th September at 7.30 pm.  Further details of his appointment will be announced next month.
